One billing page contains 250 source words. Presentations are priced separately per slide. Per 250 source words. Base rates for straightforward texts and common language pairs. Starting prices for common language pairs. The final quote depends on the pair, subject, volume, layout and urgency. Native-speaker translation, notarisation, apostilles and delivery are quoted separately. We confirm the total, taxes and deadline before work starts. Currency equivalents are indicative prices, not live exchange rates. ## What a boutique bureau does that a marketplace cannot. ### Subject specialists We select the linguist by language, subject and intended use. Native-speaker review can be agreed separately for foreign-language publication. ### Independent revision For publication, submission and important documents, we offer checking by a second linguist against the source. We include this stage explicitly in the quote. ### Terminology that holds We build and maintain a glossary and translation memory for each client, so the term you approved in March is still the term used in November. ### Confidentiality by default Project files are available to the project team through the private area of the website. We can agree an NDA before documents are shared. Files are never attached to notifications. ### The same team, each time Your work returns to the linguists who did it before. Continuity is what keeps voice consistent across years of documents. ### A name on every file One project lead owns your account end to end. Questions get answered by the person who scoped the work, not a ticket queue. ## Process The sequence is fixed. What varies is how long each stage takes, which we tell you before you commit, not after. Turnaround is indicative. The final deadline and scope are confirmed after reviewing the materials. ### 1. Brief and scope 2 hours We read the actual documents, confirm the purpose and audience, and return a fixed price and date. No estimate is issued from a word count alone. ### 2. Assignment 1 hour We assign a translator experienced in the subject. If you choose the revision tier, a second linguist is assigned for an independent review. ### 3. Translation 1 day Drafting against your approved glossary and translation memory, with queries raised early rather than guessed at. ### 4. Revision 4 hours The translator checks the finished text. In the revision tier, a second linguist also compares accuracy, terminology, register and completeness against the source. ### 5. Delivery and aftercare 1 hour Delivered in your working format with a certificate where required.
