We first check whether text can be selected, scans are readable and an original layout file exists. OCR, complex tables, diagrams and image text are assessed separately from straightforward translation.
We agree the deliverable before starting: editable DOCX, translated PDF or a layout close to the original. Unclear symbols and unreadable passages are queried rather than guessed.
